He's made some ugly moves for sure. Not just the trades, some bad signings as well. It will be interesting to see what he does in Toronto. I think he was the wrong choice there but time will tell.

7 years at $7M for Troy Terry - that's a lot for a 5th round winger with 2 60 point seasons, but then again the habs pay $7.875M to Suzuki as a centre.

Mr gallagher gets $6.5 m ; heβs never had a 60 point season in 11 seasons , hasnβt scored 30 goals in 5 Years, and has only 2 30 + goals in 11 seasons . also a 5 th round draft choice

Jake Guentzel will be out to start the season for the Pittsburgh Penguins after having right ankle surgery. The forward, will be reevaluated in 12 weeks Would Pittsburgh take on Hoffman (with partial salary retention) to replace Guentzel for the first 3+ months of the season? Its a poor-man's bandaid but the cost wouldnt be high for the pens...

I think we'd have to see what Pittsburgh does with Karlsson, and their subsequent cap situation before they make any moves to address the Guentzel injury.
