Ottawa Senators forward Josh Norris left Tuesday's game against the Nashville Predators with a shoulder and did not return. Fragile? The Senators will indeed be without center Joshua Norris for the rest of the season after he underwent shoulder surgery last week, the team informed reporters (including Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun). It’s unclear if the team expects Norris, who has had three surgeries on his left shoulder in the past few years, to be ready for the beginning of next season.

Gabriel Landeskog travelled with the team to Calgary, and was spotted riding a stationary bike before morning skate. Landeskog hasn't played this season, and the team announced in September that there was a good chance he would not play at all this year.

Midway through the middle frame, the Canucks made an unexpected lineup move when DeSmith replaced Demko and the starting netminder went directly down the tunnel. What led Demko to leave was not immediately clear but the Canucks announced at the beginning of the third that he would not return to the game. Sounds ominous. Hope it's not serious. Thatcher Demko reportedly suffered knee injury, out 2-3 weeks. The Vancouver Canucks have called up Arturs Silovs from the AHL’s Abbotsford Canucks.

The thing is, he was a minor at the time and the case files were sealed. Not sure how the info leaked out but that's about the only way a minor can be properly punished for their actions.

Interesting how many leaf fans are saying Matthews will "easily" break gretzky's goal scoring record because he's scoring at a higher pace than everyone in league history except Bossy and Lemieux but they're missing one massive point: The reason Bossy and Lemieux didnt come close to Gretzky's record is longevity. Matthews has already had some injury issues so the chances of him staying healthy and playing well for more than 10 years is really really unlikely.
Right now Matthews is the most dominant goal scorer in the NHL, no question. He has 54 goals in 63 games and he's only 26 years old. but he's still 541 goals off Gretzky's record. He'll need to score over 50 goals a year until he's 36. Ovechkin may still break the record (although this year has certainly cast some doubt on that) but he's an aberration. There are high high odds Matthews will start to slip in his early to mid 30s. Lets also not forget that Gretzky had 4 straight years of 70+ goals including that never-to-be-beaten 92 goal season.
Still its funny to see leaf fans convinced something is a foregone conclusion when he's not even 1/2 way there yet! lol.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDhAnF0ZSSUReaves vs deslauriers tonight For someone who talks a lot like Reaves , seems to fall quite a bit Update - Reaves left the game after the fight with his right eye swollen shut 🫣. Not sure what the purpose of these two cement heads fighting was but ….. there’s some discussion on IG that deslauriers poked Reaves in the eye 👁️. 🤔 take a look
