Like i get that Matthews is the most talented player on the team but Tavares has been known as a locker room leader his whole career. A team that has had major leadership issues probably should have left him with the C or maybe moved it to someone who's not such a "me me me" player like Matthews. |

As Winnipeg continues its record-tying start to the season, I always like to think back to the 2015 draft when the Bruins had 13th, 14th and 15th overall and drafted Zboril (76 nhl games), DrBrusk (good middle six winger) and Senyshyn (16 nhl games) but could have drafted Winnipeg's leading scorer Kyle Conner (17th overall) or Barzal (16th) or Chabot (18)
I love when bad things happen to the B's.

Lars Eller headed back to Washington for a couple of draft picks (a 3rd & a 5th). And arguably Eller is not that far off Dvorak in ability despite being 7 years older and no future potential. Unless Christian ramps up some ability we will be lucky if we get a late 2nd or 3rd round pick for Dvorak by that yardstick. |
