So Robertson taking heat over his Nylander push that got him banged up a bit. I have a different theory on the play after watching the replay several times. Wouldn't be the least bit surprised that Nylander felt the little push and believing it was a Hab stick doing the pushing he decided to take a dive trying to draw a penalty. Can't think of too many NHL players that would fall feet off the ice on that small a contact. Just my thought about it. Absolutely looked like a dive to me. Kind of funny if true. I mean who dives - in a preseason game, when you've dressed nearly your whole squad & the other team doesnt have its top 6 fowards or top 2 defensmen.... Dont want to wish injury on anyone but it would be kind of ironic if he missed games because of that. |

Mike Hoffman released from his PTO with Edmonton oilers Not too surprised. back when he was scoring 25-30g you could ignore the poor defensive game but now that he's a 10g per season scorer... i dont think anyone will find use for him. |

Edmonton presumably found the remaining use - hitting your "NHL experience" requirements for pre-season games. |

Doesn't surprise me at all. As i mentioned earlier,,,he's all talk. I'm glad Wifi didn't have to fight him again because we win a fight but lose in the player exchange in the box. |

Matheson and Savard can both handle extra minutes if Wifi is gone but Hutson, Barron and Guhle (who is still recovering from his minor surgery) probably cannot at this moment. |
