Bob Cole , play by play announcer, passed away 😢 Sad news. He wasnt always my favourite play by play guy (is suspect he was better when he was younger) but definitely one of the most recognizable voices in Hockey. |

So how many goals did the Leafs score in total this series? Did they even average 2 goals a game?? So much for the scoring machine led by the 69 goal wonder boy Leaf Nation keeps throwing in our faces.

His mystery illness lets Leafs fans automatically excuse him. 1g3a in 5gp ... he played all 82 games, was healthy so I don't buy he was sick at all. |

So much for superstars! they just don't have the right mix! the fact is they played as a team without Matthews and with him on the ice they look to feed him even if he has no play to make or shot to take! The Leafs are going to have to bite the bullet and drop one of the fab four to make room for more support to get them over the hump. |

Tavares walks at that point but I assume they might look at trading Marner this year. Interestingly guys like Domi and Bertuzzi were as good in the playoffs as their big 4 forwards but both are UFA this summer. With Marner and Nylander getting raises they wont be able to afford those guys most likely. Its one hell of a mess that Treliving inherited (and made worse). Glorious to watch. |

Keefe fired in Toronto... its about time, always thought he was a meh coach but honestly, im not sure if changing coaches will do much when you have 5-6 guys making 2/3 of the cap and the rest of the roster has to be fleshed out with mostly AHLers and fringe NHLers.

Valeri nichuskin of the Avs suspended for at least 6 months and placed in stage 3 of the leagues player assistance program before game 4 of the playoffs vs Dallas
Will miss the remainder of the playoffs
