The Predators have signed forward Michael McCarron to a two-year, $1.8 million contract extension, the team announced. The contract ill begin in the 2024-25 season. The 28-year-old has a career-high seven goals this season to go along with six assists in 42 games.

Austin Mathews 3 goals against Philly He has 45 goals in 51 games …. Will he hit 70 ? He definitely seems to be on a mission after an "off" year last year ("only" 40 goals). I think - if he stays healthy - 60 is a foregon conclusion. I dont know if he can keep it up & score 70 or more. I hate the guy but he's a hell of a goal scorer. No denying that. Another hat trick tonight against Anaheim 48 goals in 52 games , |

The Stars have recalled defensemen Alex Petrovic and Derrick Pouliot from AHL Texas, the team announced Monday morning. In a corresponding transaction, the Stars returned forward Matěj Blümel to Texas to stay compliant with the 23-player roster limit.

The Detroit Red Wings signed forward Michael Rasmussen to a four-year contract extension worth $12.8 million on Tuesday.
Rasmussen, 24, has appeared in 55 games this season, posting 23 points (11 goals, 12 assists) and a plus-11 rating.
