The AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack have released former NHL forward Artem Anisimov from his professional tryout agreement signed in January, it was announced Tuesday. The 35-year-old had one goal and three assists in 18 games for Hartford since debuting with the team on Jan. 4. He scored the game-winning goal for his new team on Jan. 4, but would not find the net again over his next 17 outings.

The Pittsburgh Penguins placed centre Colin White on waivers on Wednesday. The 27-year-old has no points in 11 games this season in Pittsburgh. White has posted five goals and 10 points in 21 games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. White was originally drafted 21st overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2015 NHL Draft. He has 44 goals and 113 points in 303 career NHL games.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired left wing Alex Nylander and a conditional sixth-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for right wing Emil Bemstrom, President of Hockey Operations and Alternate Governor John Davidson announced today. Nylander has been recalled and is expected to join the Blue Jackets prior to Friday’s game against the Buffalo Sabres at Nationwide Arena.
